Ms. Hartzell teaches our Three-year-old classes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with English and Spanish Minors and a Master of Arts Degree in Audiology from Western Michigan University, and a Special Education Endorsement in Learning Disabilities K-12 from Saginaw Valley University. Ms. Hartzell has enjoyed teaching general and special education in both the public and private school systems. She and her family are members of Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Cecchini has a B.A. from Western Michigan University in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood designation. She has two children ages four and six. Her youngest attends Christ the King Preschool and her six-year-old is in Kindergarten and spent the past three years with us. Mrs. Cecchini has a passion for educating children and has accepted a role in our Four-year-old and Young Fives classes.
Christine Rhoton has a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University. Christine is a teacher’s assistant and does miscellaneous office work for Ms. Ziegler. Mrs. Rhoton is married and has a son and two step children. She is a member of Christ the King and teaches the Kindergarten and First Grade Sunday School class.
Mrs. Steinkampf has a teaching degree in Elementary Education with a Master’s Degree in Reading from Michigan State University. She taught six years in Algonac at the elementary grade level. Mrs. Steinkampf has been with Christ the King since 2002. She also works part-time as an ESL (English as a Second Language) Assistant in the Grosse Pointe Public Schools and is the Sunday School teacher for five-year-olds at her church. Mrs. Steinkampf is married with three children.
